The Twits by Roald Dahl
My class read this book together; it's about a man named Mr. Twit who has a huge beard and Mrs. Twit who has a glass eye. It has lots of silly stories about these very silly people.
One of my all time favorites! I loved this one growing up! What is it about the pictures that just draws me in- they are unrealistic, and yet they capture expressions or features that you just know you have seen. Quite humorous! They kind of remind me of some of Uncle Abes illustrations. (Is it not so ironic that my word verification is "worted"?!)
Did Roald Dahl also write "Matilda?" Do you like his style of writing?
